Future of the Deviant Blogger Template
The future of this Deviant template remains promising, especially if you apply a few updates to match current web standards:
- Introduce responsive width/flex layout & optimize for mobile: though described as fixed width, making it fully fluid/responsive will enhance usability on modern devices.
- Add dark mode support to appeal to users who prefer low-light reading, which enhances user experience and modern aesthetic.
- Implement lazy loading of images and optimize script execution — especially important if the template uses heavy graphics or post thumbnail grids.
- Integrate structured data/schema markup for blog posts and breadcrumbs, which improves SEO and enables rich results in search engines.
- Update CSS/JS to ensure compatibility with the latest browsers and devices (foldables, high-resolution displays) and to meet performance metrics (Core Web Vitals) for ranking.
With these enhancements, Deviant can remain a viable and visually striking starting point for a blog well into the future.
